New toy!
« on: April 20, 2010, 07:58:22 PM »
my new toy, 10/22. seems to be pretty accurate. i can hit a 10"X10" steel target everytime at 140 yrds. sorry for the low quality picture, its from my cell phone. the first thing im going to do is modify the bolt release. i did some research for tips and tricks on these rifles and this one is a must do for me.

I think the little buffers are a couple bucks or so...
 :dunno:
does it already have an extended mag release on it? looks like it.
There's a guy on rimforecentral.com who will rework your trigger for you, I think around $60 if I remember correctly...you just send him the trigger.
I've got 3 of them too...had big plans for 1 of them but one of the big guns got moved to the head of the line.

'Grats, I'm sure you'll like it.  I haven't used my 10/22 since I bought my .17, so I just ordered an ER Shaw .17 HM2 Barrel and a Hogue Stock for it.  Hopefully that will motivate me to use it more!

Just got a BiMart add in the paper and they have the SS version of the 10/22 on sale for $199.  You never have enough guns right? :P
