First Time Hunters

Took out 2 co-workers this morning for thier first ever Turkey hunt. First bird down at 6:10 am. Nice Tom with 8 1/2 in beard, 3/4 in spurs





2nd bird down at 8:00 am. Nice Jake





Now there's 2 new excited Turkey hunter's that are already talking about next season  :)

Hey Scott... The whole lower field 2 weeks ago was covered with bird's..  with quite a few nice Tom's...  where the heck they all went I have no idea...  The Tom they took yesterday has been the only one I've seen handing around latley..   but have a ton of Jake's coming in everyday. Nothing's gobbling on the ground right now....  thank God they make some noise on the roost.

Since our blind was in the same spot you and Chris were in last year..   I told the fella's about the cougar that walked in front of ya'll last year.....   funny how none of em wanted to take a nap while waiting for day light after that.   lol
