I've been fishing since I was 3 for trout in a variety of lakes. I just started getting into bass fishing last year. A buddy of mine has been hitting Lake Sawyer a few times a year for his whole life and for 15 of those 27 years I've tagged along. I've caught many fish in my life, but have always got skunked out on this lake, even when our party was having great days of fishing! Anyway, things changed this year.... here's pics of my first Sawyer trout!

Good job, your in my back yard....  Of course I have never fished it.....  One of these days I should throw in the kayak (after speed boats hours) and give it a go.
