I will be camping there the weekend of May 1st.  I will be driving a Red 2008 Dodge Ram TRX4. If you are planning on hunting that weekend I may try to find you and see if you have any calls left.  By the way, is that campsite crowded this time of year?  I have never been there before.

I caught up with Ric at his camp, picked up a few calls and swapped some stories...
Looked around up that side a little, found some peels, droppings, and a track of a small bear.

Enjoyed meeting you Rick.  Welcome at our camp anytime.  So your not going back to your spot  :dunno:  ;)  :chuckle:  Was hoping we might run into the kid.  Had fun trying the new calls.  Not sure we'll make it back this weekend.  I anticipate seeing fresh peels when I do.  Found a unit with a few old peels, we'll be taking another look at.  Jumped a small herd of elk near our camp site Sat. evening.  Got a few pics.

Yup, think you found our camp.  Was a bit windy but  awesome view.  I was sure the spot they were fighting for was out of the hunt unit.  Good luck this weekend. :hello:

I have found fresh peels at two different locations, one place is the same one BMR posted, and the other is up in the Bunker Creek area...
Both are right next to the road, cannot miss them if you drive/walk past them....
