I would assume it would be 4 choices, the same as moose.

"Multiple Hunt Choices – You can apply for
a maximum of four hunt choices per application,
except for the quality deer and elk categories. For
quality deer and elk applications only two hunt
choices are allowed. You do not have to apply for
more than one hunt. If more than one hunt choice
is requested, each hunt will be considered in the
drawing in order of the priority you chose."

Don't worry. No need to waste your money. A mountain goat permit is nearly impossible to draw. You have better odds of being struck by lightning today than ever getting drawn for mountain goat in this state. Take a look at the total number of permits available and the total number of applications and you'll see what I mean.

Just another 6.50, no biggie, the sad thing is if they see this as a success(more $) it might give them incentive to move our general seasons to permit only, then everyone would be springing for permits.   :bash: :bdid:

If they did go permit only, the quantity and quality may come up at least.

No permit only...I like to be able to hunt. I'm sure other stats like Utah, Arizona, NM, etc are 100% satisfied with permit hunting. ;)

Isn't permit only hunting a form of communism?

:rockin:

I don't think that making deer and elk hunting a permit only situation would be a good idea at all. I mean there should always be units open to hunt for deer and elk that are not special permit only. I can not imagine a hunting season where if you do not draw a permit you don't get to hunt. That would be just nuts. That would be a close to communism as it gets as far as hunting goes. The system works and has for quite some time. Sure it needs a little tweaking here and there but thats just due to how WDFW works or should I say doesn't work sometimes.
