Well so far so good... one guy didnt make it so its just two of us with two instructors  :) Just in my first day ive learned that there is a lot of hide prepping to do for a good mount, I wish i wouldve learned to sew before i got here!  :chuckle: I figured out that theres a lot of different ways to potentially cut/poke yourself doing taxidermy  :chuckle:

You'll figure out how not to poke yourself eventually...........NOT  :chuckle: Your prep work can make or break your mount. Did you wet up that Blacktail cape yet?

Id use a lancaster blacktail form out of reaserch. I think that cape will go on the 220 series if I remember right. That cape would probably fit one of the McKenzie 6 3/4 blacktail forms also. Thats a nice form .

Thats all your gona get with a descent blacktail form, left or right semi sneak  ;). The other reasearch form are junk. The only one worth a darn in Research is the lancaster and it is just OK. Id go with the McKenzie on that cape, especially for a first mount  ;)
