Gun Cabinet Pics
« on: February 16, 2008, 11:52:51 AM »
Today's the day the new owner of my Gun Cabinet comes to pick it up. Hated to get rid of it. It was one of those projects you hope gets passed along to your kids. The new gun safe will be a much better place for guns and valuables. This would make a nice book shelf or china cabinet.

Nice looking cabinet Cowboy. Did you build that yourself?  If it was sold, do you mind me asking how much it was sold for?

Slider, I bought a Liberty Safe from NW Safes at the Sportsman show in Puyallup.

CJ-5, I did build the cabinet myself. I will PM you how much I sold it for. Less than I was asking though.

Good call Mike, a lowlife thief would not only take your guns and valuables from that cabinet but also damage it in the process. Do you have the new safe yet? Let's see some pics.

Wea300mag, I'll post up some pics once I recieve delivery this week!

Bone, If you have the skill, talent, and patients for taxidermy work, than you've probably got what it takes to be a woodworker! That cabinet ended up in Yakima which is your neck of the woods!

I'm already second guessing myself on the size of safe we ordered!

Wow.....what a great cabinet.  That is too bad you had to get rid of it.  I'm sure you'll be happy with the Liberty though.

That's a classy gun cabinet. I just recently made the upgrade/move to a gun safe. Too much to lose.

I like the almost cherry looking wood on that cabinet and obviously the handles.

When buying a new gun safe get one larger than you planed on. They run out of room fast. I wish my gun safe was a size or two larger.

Just got the safe delivered last week. Love it. BUT........I WISH I WOULD HAVE WENT WITH A LARGER SIZE!!! I knew that going in. I had heard that advise and it is so true. But, it's what I could afford. My guns are in, a few photo alblums, Personal family videoes, valuables, valuable papers/documents, etc. It sure makes you prioritize though! Still working it out. I feel better that these things are secured and fireproof!

Our family rule: find what  you want and then up grade before you buy. And always try to buy used if possible.

Got me antsy for mine to get here now. Got furniture and pictures moved so a 'slot' is all ready for it.  Liberty L-35 in black and brass.  Can't afford the guns I want to fill it with now :'(  But at least the kids will have something to remember me by :)
