ok, well over the weekend i found a little turkey heaven place on private property, got permission from the landowners to kill a couple of turkeys. i kinda got the calling down, going to pattern the shotty this week, and want to go out this weekend to get some turkey, i walked around the property this past weekend (didn't have a turkey tag) and i was able to get within 10-115 yards of several toms. so i might not even need to do any calling (the birds here aren't too afraid of people) well.... i never hunted turkeys, i just want a couple wild turkeys to eat. i have two questions though... what shells should i use? 2.75" or 3" and what shot? i have lots of 4 shot, but will i be better off using 6 or 5? and my other question might be stupid, but do shot at the turkeys head or shest? ( i'm guesing head, since i wouldn't want a buch of shot in the meat) so any help would be apreciated.
