Didn't weigh them, but the first bird I shot this year was definitely bigger than the second, though I think both were two year olds. The first one might have been a 3 year old, but in that rocky country it is hard to base the age off of spur length.
Anyways, the first one was definitly a bigger bird weight wise...but that could be because his craw was full of "wild bird feed." He was eating well, and I guess those subdevelopment yuppies that decide to move their homes into turkey country and feed the birds will save on a little food as of April 16, 2010.

The first one also came from an area that had a much much milder winter than the second bird.
On average, I don't know, I never weigh them, so my contribution to this thread was nothing. Oops.
