I know a guy over there.....

Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

i applied for idaho goat, didnt have to shell out as much as you guys all did, now that the app period is over what units did everyone put in for if youre not afraid to divulge that info, i put in for 39 just because of the proximity to home for me, i think any goat would be a trophy

I put in for goat in Utah, Montana, Colorado, and WA.  Still a few years away from Wyoming and Idaho but it'll happen soon.

I also say "eh" quite a bit being from Lynden and all.   ;)  I have no shame to say I would love to move to BC!  (doesn't get any better than being able to shoot a mountain goat every year!)

I was talking with one of the lancasters a few yrs back and he said for $400 he bought a dall sheep, stone sheep, grizzly bear, black bear, wolf, mountain goat, whitetail, mule deer and moose tags.  It would cost us just under $130,000.  I forgot the caribou tag.

Well with Great grandparents who moved to Montana from Quebec, a french last name and having grown up in Whitefish, Mt. (Alberta's winter playground)  I'm damn near Canadian myself.  With the current state of affairs here, the hunting and fishing opportunities in BC and Alberta.  Believe me, the thought of a mid 50's retirement to Canada is weighing more and more on my mind.  Having a real tough time dealing with the idea I'd have to leave my pistols here in the US however.

Back to the original question, not in on Idaho, but in on Montana and Washington.  One of these days gonna quit applying and just book a Goat hunt on Kodiak or in BC.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

Anybody on here apply for goat in 10 and gets drawn, let me know because I can point out some pretty good coordinates.  ;)
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!
