Late edition...My lil bros 5X2 Muley
« on: February 18, 2008, 01:27:04 AM »
So, this is a late edition to the 07 hunt, but here is the 5x2 my lil bro took this last year. The story roughly goes...

He heads out to a Mazama spot on his own. I was invited, but headed out with my pops on this cold morning, wet morning to a different spot from our base camp in twisp. He hiked in about 2 miles and then up a nice brushy hillside, which was topped off with some loose rocks/jagged cliffs. He headed into the trees and squated down to warm up a bit. He fixed some hot coco with his mini burner all the while some deer were skitting above and below him, coming off the jagged cliffs and along the loose rocks. He spotted the 5 by 2 and pulled up, blasted it. It ran for a bit and took I think 2 more rounds before piling up on the hill below.

With rain/snow coming down and night fast approaching, he boned out the animal and packed it out on his own. I am sure he could tell it better...but its late...perhaps he will add to this, as he is a "silent" member on here...anywho...enjoy the pics. ;)

Grats lil bro.

Ok at what point do we start counting eye guards? For me I don't count them but others do, i.e. game scorers.
