Pistolsmith near Everett?

I don't know of any near you. I work triggers on my own guns. There is a Power Custom part that reduces trigger pull on BHP's. A little polish here and there without changing angles usually works wonders. There's a reduced power spring kit available. All things you can do yourself if you've got any mechanical aptitude.

If it was me, and I wanted a pro, I'd search the net for someone that specializes in BHP's and send it off.

You shouldn't have to pay more than $100 for a trigger job on a BHP. And be specific about what you want.  It'll never be a 1911. But they can be made much nicer.

Thx. I've installed new triggers/sears in all my Marlins and plan to install a Timney in my Remington 700 SPS so I may try something my self. My only complaint  is the mile of take up..

Well after cruising all over the Internet looking for help with my BHP I found a BHP owners Forum.  I've discovered that for one I already have the trigger that everyone wants, very light and smooth and that the long take up is pretty much the way it's gonna stay.

Well... when ya can't stop/put down what you're shootin' at with a single round... ya need every refinement that can be dreamed up.
