I've only seen 1 dead spring bear on here so far this year.
 :dunno:
seems to be really slow so far.

That's all I recall seeing posted on here as well. I think it will start picking up in a couple more weeks. It's still early.

I know of one other Bear killed in on the Capolis (sp?).  Second day of the season.  Don;t think he is a member here though.

Yes, give it a bit of time and a little good weather and they will be killing some bears.

I am being played by a bear,
Down in a creek bottom that I saw one last year, I found a lot of sign and placed my trail camera.
after a week, I went back and checked...
No pictures of a bear, but a large pile of crap on different trail, so I moved the camera...
got a couple lousy pictures right at dark of bear, so I figured good spot for an evening sit.....
I went back and log on other trail was tore up by a bear, no pictures...
went back in yesterday and large pile of fresh crap on my ingress/egress trail...
It is almost like he was down there watching me, then followed me out.
Only a matter of time before we meet. (I hope)

How was the hide on that yote?  Looks pretty thick still.  Is it rubbed out at all?

Pelt is nice on the yote,  no rubs.  Except for a hoge hole fropm where the shoulder departed its side.... Surprised by how nice this one still was,  had another a few weeks ago that was all shedded.
