for the cougar hunt to be given away, is this a hound hunt?
if i were to apply for that hunt, what would be the best one to apply for?
and will my application upset hound owners because i dont own hounds and am lowering the hound owners chances by applying?
i really want to do a hound hunt one day for cougar. that is a great oppertunity and even the discounted price is a sweet deal!

I feel the same.  I would love to apply, but don't want to hear the backlash. :dunno:

You're a good man Bearpaw.
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Regarding backlash, heres my opinion:

I am a houndsman myself, but I think it's a mistake for hound hunters to try and keep this great sport of houndhunting to themselves. We hounders are far better off to share our sport with other hunters, that is how support is established for something, it is done by involving others, nuff said. :twocents:

Thanks jackelope, you are exactly correct. In this economy all businesses are experiencing "survival of the fittest", you either find ways to engage the marketplace, or you find a different profession. I like what I do, so I look for creative ways to stay busy. I hope some of the folks find these offers appealing, there are more to come.
