I got into these sheep this afternoon and was able to snap a few pics. I was amazed and how not spooky they were... these pics were taken at like 25 yrds with me just walking like right up on them pretty much. There were two rams like 6 or 700 yrds away that i couldnt get pics of
anyways i thought it was pretty sweet because i like never get to see sheep

From what the locals have told me they only give out like 3 tags in this particular unit... i think only one ram but im not for sure

The ones i posted were... the others seem to be too... ive seem them on both sides of the highway and off a couple logging roads up in there

I thought that looked familiar, I used to live in Missoula and saw those sheep quite a bit. I read they killed most of the ones on the north side of the river that hung out above the mill due to pneumonia over this past winter.

I read in the Missoula newspaper that the herd up Rock Creek was infected as well but fish and game was gonna let it run it's course instead of shooting the infected animals. However, after the initial couple of articles I never heard anymore about it. Anyone hear how they fared up there??
