Just bought my first bow, a Hoyt AM 32, last week. Haven't shot it yet - gotta get arrows  :'(

You guys will probably laugh...

47# Alpine that a writer friend sent me.

I started with a (state-of-the-art) 90# Jennings T-Star Elephant Bow in 1981... :chuckle:
In 93ish a friend who owns a bow shop upgraded me to a 70# Hoyt Raptor. It was way faster... :chuckle:
In 2006 while bowhunting in NZ I ripped my muscle from an old arm wound and couldn't shoot anything for a year.
Then my writer friend gave me the Alpine and I can shoot it OK, have gotten a three animals with it. I think it's way faster than the old Jennings... :chuckle:
