Albino Bearded Hen Turkey
« on: October 19, 2010, 02:36:42 PM »
Hello all, I just finished mounting this awesome bird and wanted to share it with all of you.  It is an Albino Hen with a 4 1/2 inch beard.  It was harvested up here in the NE part of the state during the spring hunt and the hunter has been after her for 2 years.  It was taken out of a group of Merriams.  I think he is going to like the mount.  Hope you enjoy the pic's.  John

That's an incredible looking bird.  Was the beard really black?  Incredible work too by the way.

John, as always such awesome work. You did that bird justice, will be a memory that lasts him a lifetime.

Thanks everyone for the compliments.  It was a fun project to pull off.  Never done a complete white one before.  Did do a couple of smoked phase turkeys years ago.  Talk with you all soon.  John
