Phantom Gobblers first eastern

Just to let every one no that Phantom Gobbler has killed his 1st eastern in Kentucky, way to go buddy well deserved :brew:. I think it's his biggest bird all around 10 inch beard and 3/4 spurs. He will be home shortly with pics

Congratulations.  At first I thought it was a western Washington Eastern......but one from Kansas will do I guess...lol :chuckle:

pretty sure he shot the eastern in kentucy been after one for a while now so sure he is rather excited about it

This was my second year trying for an out of state Eastern, and was able to harvest this bird on the last afternoon of the hunt in Western Kentucky.  I hope it won't be my last hunt for an Eastern as they are different birds than Merriams.  The area I hunted had record rainfall and floods to the south of us in TN (Nashville and Memphis).  Here's some pictures from the trip:
