much safer than the old arrow to fishing pole. you can use bigger floats let them drag it and tire them seleves out. you can use small floats but most use bigger floats like ancor bouys and such

That is a sweet set up the cord on that reel looks about as thick as tuna cord, probably not as stiff though, last year I was attaching to 130lb power pro, but handlining it I probably would have lost a finger or two.

Great Idea to spread the word on bowfishing.  What a great sport with a great cause!  Hopefully you don't take my replies the wrong way, ain't bustin no chops, just offering more advice and views on tactics and products.  If you ever make it out to Moses Lake or Potholes, we will have to get together and fill up some buckets.
