Was out as well and got a 30# halibut just shy of the board, ended up 5 miles east of the spit and it was a real bugger getting back to the boat launch through that rough assed Crap ! Made it back battered but not defeated ! Hit er again tomorrow !

Yeah, nothing on the board for us, I was reeling up a halibut that would have been on the board for sure but my buddy had a doggie on and it got wrapped around my line and eventually just broke my line, he felt really bad but whatever that's my luck !
I did catch one 25# for the bbq so alls well that ends well and we had fun, oh I caught a skate as well POS !  :bash:

We started at Coyote Bank, Lost my gear w/200 ft of line. Then lost another 200 ft, using 48 oz's. Had to realty watch your pole and just touch the bottom w/pole in hand out there. We moved in between there and 31-36, then finished at the 31-36. Dog fish the whole way.  :bash: Fun times.

I call that 31-36 bank the Bermuda triangle, since nothing nice ever happens to me out there in fact everything bad happens so I avoid that place like the plague !
