At Lyons Ferry it;s on the snake river. You can fish the snake but carp start spawning up the paulose river and lots of people fish there it;s about a mile or two from the campground.

Speaking of Noodling, ie. (hand fishing) I used to do that in Missouri ;). I haven't looked closely at the regs for Wa, but would suspect it is not legal.
Are you guys boat or shore fishing, and what is the best bet for bait?

for cats, i use prawns and night crawlwers. for walleyes, a crawlwer harness on a bottom bouncer mostly. for bass, a crawfish crankbait, for *censored*s-cheap beer

Are you from Missouri or where you stationed there?  Whereabouts did you live?
