Just added the new site being talked about here...  Looks good, 2 questions on the black diamond did you put the rear site wear you pulled the old site off?  Or futher back?  I put mine behind the breach were the back of the scope would mount, this doesn't look right to me.  Thanks for any help.

yeah it would be goofy back there it goes were the factory sights were infort on the breech plug. they are sweet

Lol yeah I knew something was up.  That is the location of the back sight on my 2nd black diamond is... it is a williams peep with a ghost ring... that is wear the guy from the Puyallup muzzy shop said to put it.   I did get a monster bull with that setup last year, but I like this new sight even better with the hood and the brighter and smaller front post.   Tnx for the info.

if you ever get around goldendale you can take a peek at mine. if i get to rasbos deal this year i am going to bring it so people can look at the sight.

I decided to see what it would look like if i painted the front of the sun shield on the front globe site I painted it white and man it looks sweet. Helps showing the front and rear site are dead center to each other. Cant wate to try it  out! the black on black goes blury I think this will help. If not ill clean it off.

If you shoulder the rifle correctly the peep is designed to self center. I agree black on black can go blurry but if the front site is not centered when you site down the barrel look to see if its left to right or up and down for center. If it is left to right you are probably slightly twisting the rifle when you bring it up. Up or down and the butt is not the correct height on your shoulder.  I had to practice shouldering my rifles to get the picture centered every time. Now I can bring it up ten out of ten times and it is centered. Peeps are awesome practice with them.

Will this fit just about any muzzle loader?  I just bought and older knight and this sounds like the sight to get.

on the package it says it fits knight rifles. I bet the screws will line up you might need to fit it to the barrel  sanding with 600 and proper size dowel!

the rifle seems to center pretty good for me when I shoulder it. I thought the white would help at the range when things go blury. Thanks for the advise! It does seem to help holding on center.

yes they will some need to be tweaked a little both my guns black diamond xr and elkhorn did not the nights seem to need a little and there is 2 models out there so i have only used the one maybe the other model is better for nights i am not sure

How does this globe install?  Screw or taper?

I have a bighorn that has a 1 piece front ramp/sight with 2 screws

The front site mounts with 1 screw the back site 2 screws You might need to sand site a little to get it to fit the barrel tigght. I have a big horn also and had to sand a little bit 600 grit wet sand wrap the sand paper around a dowel a bit smaller than your barrel . keep checking it till it fits tight!
