Went scouting today for bear and definitely found them. problem is no tag for me. Hope there still around in august. Good size but you can tell they just woke up cuz they still seem a bit skinny.    shot the two videos hours apart .

thats the skinniest bear I have seen walking. wow.

Cant get the second (or I should say, the first one you filmed) to work yet...probably just need to give it a minute as it posts up to youtube.

Congrats on finding the bears! Good work man!

Felt like one of those six flag safari parks where the animals walk up to your car. I think i may have watched one of them hit there den under two huge uprooted trees. or well i'm hoping thats the case so they'll be close by come august!!!    :IBCOOL:

Definately a skinny bear. Skinny bear=Hungry bear. So in the first vid. aka the second one you shot, it looked like the second bear might of been a cub? Don't know that I would want to between momma and little one.  :bdid: Congrats by the way. I've never seen a bear from a vehicle and you saw three in one day. Wow.
It's not the size of the trophy that make's it a trophy.

It was a smaller bear but i'm not positive it was a cub. the brush and the steep embankment they were on made them look smaller till they were out in the open. If i had to guess the smaaler of the two was probably 8o lbs?? I watched those two for about 30 minutes, and the other one for about 15. Just lounging eating grass and dandelions. that smaller bear got my attention because it started growling loud when i was filming the other one then when i spun around it growled again and bolted quick!

Yep it was last years cub i'm guessing based off its size and how the mother kept leaving it behind as if it was tring to ditch it.

Good luck finding one.  I am heading back to the same area I hunted last week.  Hopefully I can find the bear I saw last weekend or another one.  Should be better hunting since it will be 20 degrees cooler than last week.
