Excellent work John on the eye ring. A lot of people have difficulty on that. The whole bird turned out beautiful.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.  I'll be posting up a pic of the bird I mentioned last month that I had the opportunity and privilege to mount.  It is a duck that is rarely taken in this part of the country.  I just got it mounted and is drying as we speak.  Everyone on this site are seasoned hunters sooooooo, any guesses out there? :)  I'll keep an eye out and if you need a couple of clues, I'll give them to you.  Talk with you all soon.
