longview turkey hunting

does anyone have any info on turkey hunting around the longview area......if so please let me know. im kinda new to the game and cant really afford to drive that far but really like the challenge of bagging a tom.....please help........

Great turkey hunting in Klickitat County, and luckily for you, it's not far from Longview. To start, try along the Klickitat River.

isnt that in the yakama indian reservation are you allowed to hunt on indian land there. cuz i know up here its like very taboo. do yo know anything about the eastern population around there.

No, you'd be quite a ways from the reservation. Sounds like you need a Washington Atlas and Gazeteer. You can pick them up at just about any book store or even Wal Mart type store for about $15. You better hurry, you've only got about 10 days of turkey season left. When you get a hold of a map, look between Lyle and the town of Klickitat. There are turkeys all through there. Some of it is private land, but there's plenty of public as well. It's no secret, and you'll likely have plenty of company. At least you'll know you're in the right area.
