Foster a Pup/ Dog
« on: May 27, 2010, 06:17:18 PM »
Anyone interested in being Foster Parents to 4-Legged Fury Friends?!? You get to experience the joy of a dog without the life time commitment. And you are his/her advocate in finding the right family for him. The agency handles all of the applications. You just provide a loving home and the occasional ride. Vet appointments and Food are provided by the agency. (If you fall in love with your pup/dog, you can have first dibs at a reduced rate. :twocents:) I am here to answer questions!!! Thanks! :)

Currently there are hounds/ Lab Mixes and other looking for good temp homes. More come available every day! You can decide if you want a certain breed or gender. (Keeps the dogs from getting killed in high kill shelters.)

Hope you can help!

How are the Foster parents doing on dog food? Finally buying food from the fund raiser the Rainier Hunting Retriever Club training day. I'm picking up over $1,000 of food from Pet Pros in Bellevue next week and starting to distribute it.

If you have the chance, shop at Pet Pros occasionally. Nikki, Thanks to Avoderm Dog Food, hooked us up with a great deal on some premium food so shelter dogs will have some good eats. Canned food too. The shelters asked for canned food because many won't eat dry food when their in the stressful environment so, we obliged them.

Primary goal was to split it between shelters in King, Snohomish and Pierce Counties. I'd be happy to send a few cases of food your way.

They hooked us up with a bunch of food.

If he isnt adopted by Tuesday, I think we may just keep him! He is such a good dog. Very well mannered.  :)
