Road kill Blackie

A buddy of mine sent me a pic of this buck. He is related to someone who works for the county and they picked it up of the side of the road and sent him the pic. Shame to see a nice buck killed by a car. I ve seen MANY nice deer in the area this buck was hit. Surprisingly a very urban part of town.

Of all the deer I have nearly hit the two that surprised me most were on or just off 520. One just off the Bellevue Way exit East bound and one just a block from 520 on 51st right by Nintendo.

I see blackies out by Marymoore park in the fields sometimes....used to see them right by MS/Nintendo quite a bit..but havent seen them recently. That was a nice lookin deer.
