Great customer service!
« on: May 30, 2010, 09:45:18 AM »
I would like to thank Dennis of www.onestopjerkyshop.com for fast and great customer service. He answered my many emailed questions promptly and I thought I would share with the members here.

A few months back I scoured the web looking for a company that sells the Cyclone Auger and Funnel kit. I went to the manufacturers site, Cabela’s and everywhere I heard that had them. No such luck. Everyone was out and some places told me they were discontinued. Some sites had them listed but I could not get a reply when I inquired if they had any in stock.

Last week I started looking again and found some for sale at www.onestopjerkyshop.com. That night I sent an email asking if they had them in stock for the #22 grinders. I had a reply by 5 am the next morning from Dennis saying that they had the #22 in stock. Then I remembered I actually needed one for a #32 grinder so I emailed them back. The next morning I had a reply stating yes, they had the #32 kit so I ordered it as well as three strands of 18mm mahogany casings and they arrived the next week.

Yesterday I took the auger kit and did a dry fit. Fits like a glove. Even with our industrial strength Hobart we had a tough time stuffing the 19 mm casings so I am happy to have found this kit for our grinder. Most of my snack sticks had texture issues due to the grinder emulsifying the meat and it took forever. I know that this will speed up the process and give a better product.
