I just made the executive decision to play the LO game.   I can't afford to miss out this year - Premium CO unit, here I come baby!

Congrats on 30 3rd, maybe I'll see ya down there.   That hunt is on my short list.

I'll shop the big 3 and see what is out there......good to have patience in the LO game.   A good tag is 1500, a really good tag is around 3K, and a premium tag is 5K plus.

That 30 3rd season would cost a guy $5500-6000.   Would I pay that?  No..........You will probably find me a little south as it gets even more expensive as you head north  ;)

I thought about putting in for 33 as a second choice but didn't do it.  I would be very interested in hearing how your hunt goes this year. Good luck.

I really don't know a whole lot about the unit. Never hunted it. Basically just looking for a decent second choice unit that I can start hunting every year. Then, use my points on a good hunt every four or five years. Thats my master plan anyway. :dunno:  I used 7 points on a 3rd season unit 55 tag in 07. Timed that one right!

There are some MONSTER mulies out on the plains. I missed a pig out there in '95.  The wind can howl so be selective on your shots.  I had a gust literally blow my arrow off my rest - good luck!
