Has anyone ever shot this before? What do you think of it for the price? usually in the low $20 range...

Yes sir and I'm sure I'm going to catch hell for this but unless I was rich I wouldn't buy it. My buddy bought a box and I stuck with my Wincheste shells and we shot about the same amount of ducks. I buy it for turkeys and that's about it. IMO It will give you a few yards but 99% of shooting is placement.

Thanks for your opinion! I am just looking for what other peoples' experiences with it were. I used it in January last season and killed everything I shot at... maybe it was just confidence, which is what I am guessing it was... so I might do some testing this early season and find out!

The Remington HD is better. Hevi shot is not as dense as lead its between lead and steel. HD is denser than lead and hits really hard. :twocents:

boy thats more expensive per box than the hevi-metal and it only has 10 shells.... but ya it sounds like better shot....

The pellets are round too not that crap hevi shot passes off for pellets.  Yup its expensive but its also the best game load hands down.  Even better than lead :o

1 3/8 4's at 1450 will hammer ducks.

Cut open a shell of Hevi shot I guarantee you will be disappointed.

Cant afford that stuff, I miss too much :P. Kent fasteel is good enough, might try some blackcloud this year. Estate makes good steel loads to.

I have always used the fasteel.. but tried this cause my friend was using some hevi shot or something like it and I loved the stuff
