Guys,

All but the second rifle (6.5-06AI) are customers rifles that they have picked up last week or got shipped out.  You can look on my website and it will give you an idea of what the rifle packages go for.

I will have another 7 mag available in the next month or so that will be for sale.  Different stock, but it will be setup very similar.

I understand the comments about blueprinting an Action, but out of curiosity - How far out of square is the bolt face typically?  maybe give me a range of how far out of square factory actions are?

This is a pretty common step in Custom Gunsmithing, but it has been a curiousity of mine for some time.  Does it very quite abit between manufacturers?  Is one manufacturer more square than others?  or are they all in similar tolerances?

Remington is usually the most consistent.  They run from square to .007" out from receiver to receiver.  From what I have seen Ruger's are probably the worst with Weatherby right there with them.  I have seen them up to .020" out of square on the face of the receiver.  Winchesters usually aren't to bad as well as the Savages. Some Brownings have the barrels crossthreaded in and it ruins the receiver when taking the barrel off. Remington is definitely the one that is the most consistent and closest tolerances from what I have found.  They are also the easiest to work on, which is why they are so popular.  The other receivers require different tooling from receiver to receiver and honestly, can be very frustrating to make them correct.  I have built on just about all of them, but anymore, I normally only work with Remingtons or the Remington clones.  I have my own receiver that I have built for me that I use the most now though.

Awesome looking guns! Sure looks like you know what you're doing!
I'm glad to see a Brux barrel. How do you like 'em? The guy that builds them introduced me to reloading when I was 15 or so, he's my friends uncle. I haven't shot one of his barrels yet, but I've heard good things about them.
The more I get to know the less I find that I understand.

Those are NICE irons Rbros! What is the average build time for one of your customs. I really like your light tactical rig. I also noticed that you mention a "rbros camo pattern" that the stocks can be painted in. What does that look like, is it a digital or like a mcmillan pattern?

Typical lead-time is about 3-4 months.  I usually try to keep things in stock for my rifle packages, but occasionally I have to wait on parts.  If I have to order a McMillan stock, then the lead-time usually runs closer to 6 months, as it take 4-5 months to get a stock from them.

This is the R Bros Camo in desert style colors.  I am doing a new color scheme right now on my new R Bros receiver build.  I will post pics the end of the week.  It has green in it and blends in well in all environments.
