Carter release
« on: June 06, 2010, 09:50:55 PM »
I just got the Carter release,  It was like 102 bucks, dang,  The shop let me try it with one of there bows on a couple shots,  I liked it so far.  Of those of you that have one.  Just seeing how you like it.  My old release was a clamp style,  This new one is a j hook style.  Any comments.

Sounds like you got the Carter Quickie.  Been shooting with one for a couple years.  Great release!

Me too.  If you've got a Dremel, then use a buffing wheel on it with some polishing compound on the trigger and sear, and the thing will release every bit as good as a $300 target release.  My  :twocents: is that it's simply the best hunting release made.

I to use to use a Cobra clamp style and then Dennis up at Whole sale up in Federalway let me try his and i fell in love with it. The "RELESE THAT IS".  A $102 is a bit steep but worth every Penney
