diamond rock 2.0???
« on: June 09, 2010, 08:48:53 AM »
anyone got one? know much about them? im looking to start bow hunting i shot a few bows the other day shot the rock, the razors edge and the bear archery strike. i didnt really like the bear that much it seamed heavy and unbalanced and the edge was kinda weird feeling on the grip. but the rock felt really good i just want some more input about it before i go out and spend 500 on it
thanks

I picked one up recently.  For my first bow I really like it.  I haven't hunted with it yet but definately will.  I shoot pretty good groups out to 35 yards.  I had never shot a compound before the rock.  For the money, I think it is a decent bow for a beginner like me.  Not the fastest or lightest but doesn't require you to drop an arm and a leg to decide if you like the sport. :twocents:

Iv'e thought very seriously about getting one for a 2nd bow, but I might just use my current as a back up and upgrade next year to a Mission BX1.

I have The Rock and I have no complaints. I have yet to harvest an animal with it yet but that is not the bow's fault.  :bash:  I have shot with buddies that have the much more expensive high end bows and I keep up with them just fine.
