Wolf forum???
« on: June 09, 2010, 02:18:46 PM »
I was wondering what the moderators and everyone else thought about starting a Wolf forum like the Deer and Elk ones we have. This battle on the wolves seems like its becoming worse and worse. We have a lot of topics on them and most seem to be put into the general forum but It would be easier to keep track of them and maybe work towards accomplishing something against them if it was more organized. I feel we need to do something before we end up like Idaho and Montana. This is just a idea....  :dunno:
Thanks, Mike

I like the idea of the wolf threads being consolidated, however, I'm not sure how much work that is on the guys that run this forum. :twocents:

The "other big game" forum maybe?
I don't think Ray's interested in more forums but that "other big game" forum is not too active.

Just a thought without creating more forums.

I don't blame you guys at all, that must be a big pain changing the forum.

Here's an idea:
Would it be hard to change the name to Wolves & Other Big Game?

It doesn't bother me at all the way it is, but it would be quicker to catch up on the wolf threads if they were in one place, and I get the feeling some guys don't want to see the word "wolf" ...  :chuckle:

the whole sub forum would be full of these   :mgun: :mgun: :mgun: :mgun:   and these  :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: and then throw in  :mgun2:   :mgun2:  and   :hunter: :hunter:  ......but it would centrally locate the threads

Looks like some guys like it  . It might be easier to keep up on this wolf battle by having them consolidated like Bearpaw said. There's a ton of wolf topics and they get flooded through the general forum and its hard to keep up with them. Plus if they were all together it might show how much is really going on and get more people interested. I totally understand if this would be a big hassle and I have no problem if Ray or any of the other moderators shut it down... totally understand. Maybe wait a few days and see how many poeple like or dislike the idea.
Jackelope- the other big game forum might work... I don't know. Guess we'll see what people think.....

I agree..they can go in "Other Big Game" or they can be consolidated into one long thread.

howabout a newspaper article forum.....I can't keep up with all the news posts, wolf posts, article posts etc....

seems a few too many posts daily to keep up or follow an actual discussion anymore? just my two pennies...

I am sure a few of us would consolidate them one time. All new topics started outside that thread could be deleted.  :dunno:
