i will probably be up there in the morning. you riding in with Hillside or takin the chevy?
Rasbo and Toejam, it was nice talking to you guys this morning. I have read this site for a long time and am glad that you guys asked me to join. After I left you guys, I went to a place that I have been hiking to and found a lot more sign today. It seems as if this bear goes on the opposite side of where I am constantly. I don't believe I am very far from him, but I just can't seem to get a look at him. This is my first post so I hope that I am doing this right.
yeah ill meet ya at the corner 5:45
Rasbo, I tried some screaming as you call it today, and I think that every doe in the area came in to check me out. The first came in hard in less than 10 seconds and made a large circle all the way around me. I wish that I knew how to call the bear in this area.
That is pretty funny Cowpisson... I call it cowposin
Im taking it that you guys are fawn calling.... Have you ever tried cub calling ? Have a friend down in Cali that kills a lot of bear that way and I had never heard of anyone doing that way before.

it got hot up there fast today. i may go in tonight since the wife and kids are off somewhere. found a ton of peels up where i was and saw some dandy bucks
Rasbo, my buddy would use a small drinking glass. Kinda like the ones they serve water in at a restraunt. Have you tried it that way ?
Was it the one you have had your eye on? The taxidermist for Butch's bear said that when they are that black they reflect the sky that's why they seem to have a blue tint. Pretty cool.
