I did only til I get drawn for deer- I have 5 deer points and should draw my unit this year or next! I am hoping a few of you decided not to so I get drawn this year and not have to waste my money next year.

Most of us did not apply this year because of the increase in prices.  I have 4 deer points that I'm not going to use because of the cost.  My 11 antelope points I may decide to try to cash in next year for a permit.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

One of the FEW states this year I didn't apply in. Had to tell a couple of them to buzz off.

I would have done OTC Western tag if they hadn't kicked me in the nads with higher fee's this year, dirty crackers. Can't afford them now, they priced me out.

I did with 12 elk but will probably not draw. I have 11 deer and may try to burn next year and get out. Would not mind staying in if they started to give more tags to non residents. The pathetic low quotas are worse than the price hike. If you live in washington the price hike does not add up to the extra gas it takes to get to most of the other states.

Oregon can F*#k off!!!!!!!! I will use my my points in the coming years when I decide what hunt/hunts I can draw. I may just use my elk points and let everything else go. But I'm certainly not buying any more points!

I applied this year, but if they don't reduce the cost, next year I will not.

What i read was they had less applicants this year but they made more money. Not like Idaho where they lost alot of money also. Not likely to see a price reduction.

Then, next year I will go with WDFWSUX's quote.  I like that one... :chuckle:

huntindork,
It says that I was unsuccessful for deer, elk, sheep, and antelope.  I thought for sure I would draw deer this year.  I hope that was a recording from last year.

I couldn't back out this year. I have 11 points for deer, elk and antelope so I put in for my usual hard to draw units. The ones that only offer 1 tag to a nonresident. I also put in for sheep. I'm hoping that a lot of guys dump there points this year. Maybe I'll have a chance next year.

I checked my dads and he was not found in the system.  This is the first year that he has ever applied in oregon so I have a feeling these are the results from last year.

I think you guys may be right because it is only telling me not sucessful for deer and elk which is what i put in for last year.  This year I put in for sheep also! BUT the funny thing unless i punched in the wrong angler number, the first time I called it said I was drawn for a deer tag i did not put in for- It was worth a try- As you guys can probably tell its killing me!
