A note to this.  Silver arrow will be offering camping for the first time this shoot.  The only thing is if you are bringing your trailer you can't park it until 5pm on Friday.  They will have trailer parking up by the gravel pit.  But you have to wait til it closes for business friday afternoon to park.

We've been putting a lot of work in at our club lately...  We recieved a grant form the State Shooting range fund to inprove Safety and the Course.

Silver arrow bowmen have a face book site.. The club is located on the E end of  E Hickox rd Mt Vernon in the Skagit Valley... If you mapquest 20411 East Hickox Rd 98274 it will take you right to the club.

Great job Silver Arrow!  Gale, Dave, Doug, George and all the volunteers that put this together,  a big thank you.  First field event for me and it was an eye opener.  Figured out I like the animal round better than the field round!  LOL  Of course that had absolutely nothing to do with the fact my string came apart on my 5th target (just unraveled) of the field and had to run back to my truck and get my backup bow.  At 55 its no fun to run downhill to the parking lot,  get my bow and run back up and didn't even have my group wait too long before shooting the next.  Big change shooting the 65# longbow instead of the 53.... wore me out!  112 shots on the field round and then the animal round.... Much fun though!

Ya Ren but you survived and have your quiver still full.  Unfortunately I cannot say that.  Thanks to Rick Morgan and his CXL 250's if my Nano's were in the middle he crushed them.  Started with 14 arrows walked off yesterday with 8 still shootable no pins and no nocks left except those on the 8 arrows.

Congrats to all that showed up.  And a big thanks to Gail, Dave and everyone else that helped put on this shoot.
