PHELPS GAME CALLS!
«
on:
June 16, 2010, 08:33:05 PM »
My name is Jason Phelps and I am the owner of PHELPS GAME CALLS. The business originated when, I decided to take my passion for calling in animals to the next level and create my own custom game calls.
My number one goal is to offer the most realistic sounding calls available with a custom look. I would not sell my calls if I didn’t believe they are the best sounding calls available. Each call is turned to shape, finished, and tuned one at a time.
I currently offer custom elk calls. These things sound sweet. In the near future I will be expanding my call selection to offer custom calls for deer, turkey, predators, owl, crow, duck and goose.
Call prices start at $20 and vary depending on wood selection, finish, and custom designs. Feel free to contact me with any questions that you may have.

Tune in to the sponsors forum as calls will show up periodically. Also I will be giving away some free calls shortly in the elk forum (photo and story contests).

I also need to give a big shout out and thank you to our very own Bearmanric. He has mentored me and provided me with much of the equipment that I use to make these calls. He is a great guy and I owe him big!
Ask Rick, if these things talk elk.

$20 for any of the camo laminates. These calls sound extremly good. I take each individual call down in the timber below my house to tune them. I will not sell them until they sound like I want them too.

Nice looking calls Jason. I'm definitely going to have to get one from you. Maybe next time I come down that way I will stop in and buy one.

Oh and say hello to hunter for me. Just a couple more years until he's calling in the bulls for dad.

Josh (Grundy),
Whenever you come down and want to swing by let me know.
Hunter already loves the sound of the elk calls. He can be throwing a fit and you blow on a call and he quiets right down.

Nice work Jay! I have had pleasure to hunt alongside Jason for the past couple archery elk seasons. Last year alone Jason called in 5 bulls to shooting range. Due to untimely wind changes and poor positioning, I wasn't able to harvest a bull. However, 1 of those bulls that was called in was held at 10 yards for 2-3 minutes. The bull stared straight in our direction until the bull finally presented a shot for Jason which he capitalized on.
It is obvious Jason knows how to talk to elk and knows what real elk sound like. I only expect him to make calls which duplicate those sounds.
Have fun helping others kill big bulls, Jay!
