How Big is He???

How Big do u think this Billy is?? I don't know too much about goats. Anyone have an idea of how long his horns are? :dunno: :dunno: Its a crappy pic, but as close as I could get :)

Hard to say.

I think about 9"

Also, I believe this is a nanny.

Not heavy enough at the bases to be a billy, and also, the horns pretty much stick straight up.

I was asuming it was a billy. It was about 300 yards from the main group of 12 goats. The 12 were nannies and kids for sure. I am assuming this would be a respectable goat if one had a tag :dunno: :dunno:

I too would guess about 9", hard to tell in that picture though.  Not a shooter in my book.

I can't field judge a goat for anything but if the guys are right saying low 40's then that should not be a shooter.

How do you tell the difference between a nanny and a billy? I thought billy's had a black spot right behind their horns, and nannies did not, but maybe that is wrong?
