Gunbroker and 264 WM
« on: June 18, 2010, 11:36:40 PM »
OK, looking for some valued opinion here on this:  http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=174067739

I stumbled on this the other day out of boredom and wandering thru GB.
So I decided to e-mail him and see if he'd give me the last 2 digits of the serial number since I had a 1/98 chance of it being consecutive with my current 264wm, which I told him was a possibility.
It is, and he verified it with a back up picture and I did not tell him what my S/N number was.  Holy crap I thought!!!!   :IBCOOL:

My current 264 is in as good as condition as this one appears in the pics and by his comments.

Would you pull the trigger and buy this for consecutive serial numbers?
What, if any, having consecutive S/N's would do to the value of these?

I would think it would be huge for collector value.
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

yeah i do see it adding much value maybe a little but unless it is a pair sold together and kept together usally it does not add value like buying 2 10/22 at bimart for 200.00 just does not add value but it might add a little. if it is a good gun and you have the $ why the hell not buy it
