well it looks as if I drew a alkali A tag anyone know anything about this unit?I heard there are some monsters out there :dunno: w/ it being a military base is it difficult to get access? can I kill a 200" muley like that guy last year? any help would be great thanks!

To get access you have to go in and watch a half hour video and register any firearms you will be taking into the base. After that you still have to check in and out every day you hunt. I think you have two hours before and after shooting time. Also when you check in you have to look at what area's are open that day and I think you can pick 3 units to hunt in. They give you a very good map and statistics as to past years hunting success including size of the deer taken in each. bottom line from what I saw is that there are nice bucks taken in every unit. I never saw any 200 point buck but we only hunted with does tags so we didn't have to spend much time. Good luck and congrats on the draw.
