Let me guess. One of the 500 guys with ten points that put in for the desert with the remaining 8000 people?
I really don't think points matter anymore for any guarantee. I think they give you an edge and more hope but bottom line is WA state is packed with people and hunters making odds slim no matter what. I think luck is a huge roll. I was lucky pulling Entiat modern with 8 points. I look at the odds and still I am amazed I drew it even with that many points. I'm topped out on the oil points or maybe one behind, I know what you mean though, I get my hopes up every year for one of them but statistically, with the remaining numbers of guys with max points, I still have better chances at Lotto. By the way, this is the first tag Ive drawn in 8 years for any species in this state.
MS
It is just luck of the draw, other than OIL tags, I have been drawn 9 times in 14 years, since they started the point system, 0 out of 15 before points.....

If I follow the States intentions, The most points you could have on the books next season is 5Pt's. Notice at the top of your special draw page on line it states all points used before 2006 will be zero? Then look it the right side of the page, "points used". I believe that means they only plan on giving us credit from 2006 to date? Has anyone hear different? :dunno: :bash:

ONE CHOICE.    That will help the draw system.  It will cut back on many of these guys drawing that don't have EVEN HAVE A CLUE where they put in.

They need to go to OIL or deer elk and only one choice.  If they need the money then raise the price of an app.
