My Gramps pulled a Mt.Spokane cow moose tag with 15 points this year.  Gonna have to start studying maps and talking to the Bio. over there.

I drew a Three Forks any moose tag this year with 11 points.  Even with 11 points I really beat the odds.

Moose Eyes....I have a hunting cabin in that unit and know it pretty well. Have seen some pretty nice bulls there as well (cows too.). Let me know if I can help point you in a direction.   Devin   (NWBREW)

I have 15 points but so do alot of other people.  Its kind of like algebra that just cancels each other out when you cross the equal sign.

Ohh kind of like you can do it on one side as long as you do it on the other side?

Ya, like that.  I put in an application with 15 points and someone else puts in an application with 15 points and we cancel each other out and some guy with 6 points ends up getting a tag.

So...some quick math.

If there are 1000 people that put in for one tag.  If everyone that puts in averages 5 points each, add the "multiplier"

25 X 1000 is 25,000 names in the hat.  If you have 10 points, that puts your name in the hat 100 times of the 25,000 total.

That gives you a 1 in 250 chance in getting drawn with 10 points?

If I did my math right, why do people freak out when they have 15 points and haven't been drawn yet?
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.
