My Gramps pulled a Mt.Spokane cow moose tag with 15 points this year.  Gonna have to start studying maps and talking to the Bio. over there.

I drew a Three Forks any moose tag this year with 11 points.  Even with 11 points I really beat the odds.

Moose Eyes....I have a hunting cabin in that unit and know it pretty well. Have seen some pretty nice bulls there as well (cows too.). Let me know if I can help point you in a direction.   Devin   (NWBREW)

I have 15 points but so do alot of other people.  Its kind of like algebra that just cancels each other out when you cross the equal sign.

Ya, like that.  I put in an application with 15 points and someone else puts in an application with 15 points and we cancel each other out and some guy with 6 points ends up getting a tag.

So...some quick math.

If there are 1000 people that put in for one tag.  If everyone that puts in averages 5 points each, add the "multiplier"

25 X 1000 is 25,000 names in the hat.  If you have 10 points, that puts your name in the hat 100 times of the 25,000 total.

That gives you a 1 in 250 chance in getting drawn with 10 points?

If I did my math right, why do people freak out when they have 15 points and haven't been drawn yet?
