Bet it doesn't take the greenies long to do the same thing in Washington if this suit is won.

The standards used by some Montana national forests for assessing the amount of cover that must be available for elk to hide securely from hunters and natural predators has led challenges and anti-logging lawsuits by environmental groups. "The court rulings pushed us into a corner with elk herd units, which is the whole area where an elk may be in the course of a year, including on private land," said Lincoln Ranger District wildlife biologist Pat Stanley. "Our standard was being interpreted in a manner it was never intended." Billings Gazette.
