Got a call from WDFW and would like some volunteers to help repair a fence tomorrow in Nache's. appears we have a problem with some sheep getting out. Sure could use some help..we will be meeting around 8:30 am in Nache's June 24th. Sorry not much notice. Will have more info if interested this afternoon.

Just to clarify...bighorns have been seen going through this gap in the fence which may increase the chance of co-mingling with domestic sheep/goats.
Bryan told me 9 am at the feeding station???
See you guys there!

I'd sure like to not be stuck in this hell-hole with a bunch of people on vacation or I'd be there to help out.

I'd go but where is
Nache's
.
Just kidding. I got to work but kudos to you guys for volunteering. Hey ramslam, I heard a rumor about some bighorns spotted on the hill off S. Naches road in the Naches Hgts area. Do you know anything about that or is it a bunch of BS.

not funny, Joe...
Drew's got the pulling handled...that big Warn did the job just fine. We could have used some help shovelling though...and it's not even the area I drew either

I would personally like to thank the volunteers that showed up to help with the fence repair yesterday. There were 4 of us there from WAFNAWS and one from the local SCI chapter. We replaced 7-8 burnt and broken posts on a 120-140 foot section that was laying on the ground. With the wire rehung and some braces in place the bighorn population should stay on the mountain not roaming through downtown Naches.
