Torn toe nail on Lab?
« on: June 25, 2010, 12:38:00 PM »
My 7 year old lab split her hail down the middle and lost one side of the nail top to bottom leaving the whole nerve exposed. Anyone know what I can do?

as long as its' not bleeding or at risk of infection try superglue. if the nail is gone, might need to hit the vet and have it removed.

the super glue is good but it does burn. if it is not bleeding give it a little time and see how it looks also i would put some neosprin on it a few times a day to keep it clean
