I will probably shoot the first one I see again unless there is an unusual amount of sign this year. I like to think I wont shoot a dink again but I'm so greedy I probably will.

First Yogi I see is going down.  It will be my first, so will not be picky about color, size, or whatever.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

I'll shoot the first one I can sneak real close to. I don't plan on as much bear hunting this year.

First legal one I see.  But that depends on how my scouting continues through this month, and If I can keep track of one certain bear.

Tag #1: I'll take the 1st legal one I see.
Tag #2: I'll try for a trophy.

I voted "The first legal one I see". The reason being is I've shot two that squared just over seven foot, one of them had the white patch on his chest. The very first bear I shot was a real pretty cinnamon that squared 6' 6" and I was VERY lucky to be able to shoot a blonde one up in B.C. that squared just over six foot. So now when I bear hunt I just want a decent (5 to 6 foot) bear for the freezer.

I voted first legal - but that doesn't include a sow w/cubs.  My wife would prefer a solid black rug.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I took the first one I saw!  ITs meat in the freeze and I am no trophy hunter.

As for being close to the road, she was only 30 yrds from my vehicle.  ;D
