it sucks when stuff like this happens.

Sorry to hear this, it really irks me that people do this crap.  I'm starting to think we should start placing gamecams at the put ins and take outs.  I'm always worried I'll come back to some broken windows, punctured tanks, etc.

I am afraid to go back.It is not worth the headache of cleaning glass and getting a window replaced.

Yeah, maybe the shuttle folks should change their service where they immediately pickup your rig and move it to safe ground, then bring it to the take out spot. Aggravating. Makes a guy want to put some C-4 and a detonator in the glove box.

Same crap happened to me 5 years ago or so on the Yak in the canyon except they broke my window then stole my truck and trailer. *censored*s...never saw my truck again.
Sorry it had to happen to someone else. Its becoming too common. I heard it happened a couple times recently in the canyon again too.
I'm kinda spooked about even going back. I've been there only 3-4 times to fish since then.

its nothing new, 25 years ago the wife ran out of gas in the '72 Rally Nova between Eburg and Yakima just about in the middle.  She called as SOON as she got to Yak(no cell phones then), I jumped in the truck and roared out there with a buddy to put gas in and move the car...too late...all the glass gone(doors, windshield, mirrors etc, stereo gone, seats slashed and the air cleaner taken along with the emblems pried off.  I took the Chevelle out there the next day and had a buddy swing by to pick me up...like i was hitching...he had my 30-06 in the truck and my cammys....I crawled back to an overwatch and settled down for a wait.  Army interrupted my vigil a few hours later and told me I couldnt DO that...

Fast forward five years, I was fishing in the canyon and WATCHED a couple of pukes break out the truck side window and go through the cab, steal the battery and break out the canopy window and steal my tools.  I was on the OTHER side of the river and the crossing was about a half mile back...I got the vehicle description and went looking after I had my truck fixed...found the vehicle at the Pomona tavern.  Tool box visible in the back seat.  I called the sheriff and watched the rodeo start.

Ho habla englis....so the deputy switched to spanish.  THAt was fun to watch. I got my gear back but not the battery nor the window paid for.

I think that trail cams are a WONDERFUL idea...along with a gibbet and a large flat screen running loops. :yike:

I've had my car stolen the day before thanksgiving and some kids try to break into my truck while I was bear hunting.

Crime does pay in my opinion.

Crappy deal man. Dont let it stop you from your spots.

my truck was found in Yakima in front of some crackhouse motel parking lot. It was sitting on 3 wheels, the fenders were crushed like they jumped it and stuffed the wheels. the interior was stripped and trashed, and it was totalled by the insurance company while it was still in Yakima. I had it towed to the Chev dealership there once it was recovered and couldn't get over there to see it. Once they totalled it I had a couple days if I wanted to see it. I couldn't get away from work and there wasn't much to see so they took it to the bone yard.
I got lots of pics from the insurance company.

I had my 4Runner broke into in Spokane back when I was in college. Worst part was that I volunteered each week for like four hours on Wednesday nights at a youth shelter and I am pretty damn sure it was one of them little @#$@#^ that broke into my rig. I was parked out on a main busy road and there were cameras out front but I was parked in the one spot that the camera couldn't see. I remember walking out and finding my window broke out, stuff all over the inside of my runner, my binoculars were gone, they f'ed up my cd player trying to pop it out with a screw driver etc. I was so mad and looking back I am glad I didn't catch the little punks doing it or else I might have went to jail for beating the crap out of them!  >:(

Had my F-250 broken into while coyote hunting a few years back near center rd Quilcene area.

I was walking back to the gate where I parked and saw a mid 90s ugly aqua blue F150 with matching color cab high colored canopy go 10 point turning around near my truck then go wizzing by on the main rd below me and away from my truck, He got me for all my truck records and papers, cell phone, radar detector, and a hunting pack with FRS radios and a GPS as well as my badges from work.

I never leave anything in the truck now

I'm still watching for that b@@@@stard.

Yes people do suck and he's lucky I did not catch him in the act, I guarantee it wouldn't be pretty
