Dad just ordered our new wall tent.    :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:
Its a 16x24 From Wall Tent Shop In Idaho.

(1).back door or back wall screened window.

(2) storm flap with buckles over front and back doors.

(3)reinforced ridge with an extra layer of canvas, double stitched.

(4)large tent bag.

(5)webbing on both eaves with heavy D rings to reinforce the eave where the most stress is on a tent. A much more durable and stronger system than grommets pressed into canvas eaves on a standard tent.

(6)5 foot finished wall height.

There is no other tent on the market that has the Wilderness free standard features, I guarantee it. Other standard features on the Wilderness Canvas tents (7) Free zippered front door (8.) Free sod cloth (9) Free stovejack , 5 or 6 inches (10) Free ropes and tensioners. I strongly recommend the Wilderness Canvas Tents if you are looking for a quality tent, at a reasonable price, with many standard free features. On my Wilderness tent webpage, read testimonials on Wilderness Tent quality from many satisfied customers.

SO EXCITED TO GET IT SATURDAY and put it up.....

Damn!  That's a beast!  I'd love one that size, but don't think I'd like the setup and breakdown with 2 guys.

Thats a damn big tent, will give you lots of room.  You'll damn near need a barrel stove to heat it.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

IT CAME TODAY!!! We officially have the first 16x24 from the wall tent shop.  We have the prototype and were asked to review it and test it to the best of its ability.
we have a pretty nice stove that we are throwing in it that should do nice.
There is gonna be 6-8 in camp so it should be a fun elk camp.

what a great day to set up our new tent.
Cut all of our own frame pipes and had the frame set up pretty quickly after we had everything cut.

Backwoods boy,

I emailed the tent shop you used and they sugested a 16x20 for my wife, myself and my 4 evil monkeys.  anyway the questions I have for you is could you put it up yourself if you had to and would it take allday to do it?  And what do you think of the quality of the tent now that you have had it for a month or so?

thanks
carl

just ordered today............

WILDERNESS III CAMP STOVE
# 12 gauge steel used for body and 10 gauge steel used for top.
# Welded heavy-guage hot rolled steel construction.
# 1" grid/braces underneath stove top to insure stove top does not warp.
# Reinforcement bars welded to both sides and back to prevent warping.
# Strong - quality welds to insure airtight design.
# of Wilderness wall tent stoves.
# Rain cap with spark arrestor. Prevents rain and snow going into stove pipe. Much better than cheap wire mesh spark arrestors on most stoves.
# Large adjustable air intake on door allows a hotter fire when needed on cold nights
# Legs are heavy round pipe with threads that screw into stove which helps level stove.
# 5" nesting stove pipe, 7' long - smallest piece fits into next larger size, end of pipe is 6".
# All stove accessories fit inside firebox except Wilderness 1.
# A 5" standard oval stove jack will accomodate Wilderness Stoves 5" nesting stove pipe
# Nesting stove pipe with welded seam, eliminates smoke leakage.
# Warming trays - 25"l x 8"w, which can fit on either side of stove.
# Stainless steel 3 gallon water tank - can fit on either side of stove.
# Legs are 18" long. Which makes the stove top 6" higher than other stoves. Easier to cook on and easier to add wood.
# Stove pipe opening is recessed to make packing in on horses easier
# GRATE is available in the deluxe package. Grate is designed for stove when burning coal. Grate can also be used for burning wood as grate allows more air at the bottom of the wood creating a hotter fire. .
# Air intake on door has a metal plate behind it to prevent sparks from popping out the air intake holes.
